RECOVERY

Recovering stranded vehicles either by self-recovery or assisted by another vehicle is an everyday part of off-road  driving and working. Anyone who has never been stuck has never been off-road!

A full working knowledge of recovery techniques and equipment is essential for effective safe recovery. Incorrect equipment or inability to use it to best advantage is dangerous and possibly lethal.

Our one day course covers all aspects of recovery and is highly recommended for anyone considering overseas travel or who intends to spend a lot of time off road.

Safety, Winch(basic), Recovery ropes and straps, Kinetic recovery Techniques, Ground Anchors, What to carry, Hi-lift jack, shovel, sand ladders/waffles and use of materials to hand. Plenty of practical experience

Any owner of a 4x4 vehicle intending to use it off-road. This course is particularly suitable for anyone intending to venture abroad
